IOTAIt is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and friend on Sunday, May 16, 2011 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 65. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson officiating.

Judy was a housewife who loved working in her community. She was a member of the Woodman of the World where she was the active Treasurer since 1992 and she received the 2010 Fraternalist of the year award an Iota volunteer for family communities and many organization and charities. She had a love for family, friends, animals and teaching swimming lessons but her greatest love was her three sons and their family, Erick John Floyd and wife, Sheila, David Keith Floyd and Tiffany Sarver, Gregory James Floyd all of Iota her eight loving grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, and Nicole Floyd, Tristan Simon, Jewel, Alanie, Jaiklyn Floyd and Adrianna Floyd.

Judy now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Johnny Floyd and her parents, Joseph and Hilda Bourque LeJeune.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Wednesday, May 18th from 12 noon until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday, May 19th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Wednesday evening.
