Juanita Fontenot

EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Juanita Ann Fontenot on her 67th year while surrounded by her beloved family at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, on the afternoon of Monday, March 19, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, March 22, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice with Msgr. Robert Romero Celebrant.

Juanita proudly served her country in the United States Airforce. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. This little lady has received her wings and is now soaring above looking over her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband, Dolan Ray Fontenot of Basile her son, Jamie Fontenot and companion, Gin Broussard of Eunice her daughter, Donna Rae Guillory and husband, Stephen Don of Eunice her four brothers, Lionel Tweedel of Duralde, Charles Tweedel of Eunice, Frank Rufus Butch Tweedel and wife, Joy of Turkey Creek and Kenneth Tweedel and wife, Mary of Eunice her sister, Earline Rider of Dry Creek. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Jace Young and wife, Miranda, Tylor Fontenot, and Richlyn Fontenot and further blessed with one great granddaughter, Landrie Young. Also mourning her loss are her five step great grandchildren, Alex Melancon, Jonathon Broussard, Stephen Don Guillory, II, Ashley LeJeune and Dustin Guillory six step great grandchildren, Hayden, Noah, Kannon, Lane, Henley and Bryer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Frank and Helen Gautreaux Tweedel.
