EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 30, 2007, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Joseph Ira Sonnier who passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with the Reverend Fr. Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

His special family members, Johnny and Ruth Frame of Swords; a special friend, Ben John of Elton; two sisters, Pearl Frame of Swords, Gertrude Gertie Caletka of Alexandria; numerous nephews and nieces survive a loving uncle and friend Mr. Sonnier.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maudry LeJeune Sonnier; parents, Portelus and Lenna Guillory Sonnier; two sisters Zula Fruge and Lillian Young.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Sunday, July 29, 2007, from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, July 30, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening.
