EUNICE-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2006, at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice for Mr. Joseph Douget, Jr., 66, who died Saturday, October 21, 2006, at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Mr. Douget was a resident of Eunice and retired as a clerk working with Ardoins Dry Goods Store.He was also an avid gardener who loved flowers and enjoyed camping with family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Fontenot Douget of Eunice; one sister Gloria Fontenot and husband, Gilbert of Richard; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice Sunday, October 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Monday, October 23, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
