BASILEIt is with great sadness that the family of Johnny John Pousson announces his passing on Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Elton with Father Brian Taylor Celebrant.

Johnny known as John to all who knew him worked for many years at Dunham Price Concrete Company as well as a pipeline company overseas. He loved to make cracklins with his Dad. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him including his mother, Verna Mae Pousson of Basile two sons, Craig Pousson of Lake Charles and Everette Pousson of LeBleu Settlement his daughter, Michelle Nell of Phoenix, AZ his two brothers, James Pousson and wife, Barbara of Lake Charles and Raymond Pousson and wife, LaDonna of Iowa. He was also blessed with four grandchildren.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved father, Allen A. Pousson, Sr. brothers, Allen Pousson, Jr. and Darrell Pousson and a sister, Sadie LeJeune.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Tuesday, April 3rd from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, April 4th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
