EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Joe Deaville, who passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 50. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Joe, a resident of Eunice was the owner and operator of Joe Deaville Roofing and Building Contracting. He had a love for horses: raising, training, racing, and breaking them.

Joe will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed. A loving father, brother, and grandfather, Joe will be lovingly remembered by his three loving daughters; Tasha Y. Menteer and her husband, Michael of Austin, TX, Katie Jo Deaville of Crowley, and Lynzie A. Taylor of Morgan City; his three brothers, Donald R. Deaville, Rickey J. Deaville, and Keith Deaville all of Eunice; his four sisters, JoAnn Waggoner of Oakdale, Brenda D.Fontenot, Susan D. Leger, and Peggy A. Comeaux all of Eunice; his three wonderful grandchildren, Brennan C. Bellard, Kenzley P. Bellard and Brandon M. Menteer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Irma Jean Fontenot Deaville.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
