EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the children announces the passing of their beloved mother, JoAnn Frey, on October 09, 2012 in the comfort of her home with her loving children by her side. She was 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.
JoAnn was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She was a very kind and loving woman and spending time with her family and friends brought a great deal of joy to her life. She loved the outdoors and was known for being that lady in the crawfish pond. Precious memories of her will remain forever in the hearts of her children and those who love her especially her five sons, Larry Bubba Frey and wife, Melissa, Robert Bobby Frey, Stephen Frey and wife, Vickie, Patrick Frey and wife, Saundra, and Reginald Frey, Jr all of Eunice six daughters, Cynthia Hollier, Susan Deaville and husband, Donald, Earlene LeJeune and husband, Tyrell ToTo, Harriet Young and husband, David Mack, Edna Granger, and husband, Mitch and Melissa Lavergne and husband, Kurt all of Eunice three brothers, James Bollich of Lafayette, Elmo Bollich of Jones, and Charles Bollich of Beaumont one sister, Missionary Sister Isidore Edna Bollich of Philadelphia, PA She was blessed with twenty three grandchildren and further blessed with twenty one great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Frey, Sr. her parents, Anthony and Edna Bollich sister, Gloria Coleman three brothers, Stephen, Andrew and Al Bollich.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, October 10th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, October 11th from 7:00 am until time of services. Loretta Kruta will recite a Rosary at 7:00pm Wednesday evening.
