IOTA-It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Jeff Regan announces his passing on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his home with loving family by his side. He was 59. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry, Celebrant.

Jeff was a hard-working man. He was a crane operator, and he loved the outdoors and hunting. His children were his treasures, and he absolutely adored his grandbabies. In his life, he taught his family many valuable things and left them with memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. Jeff will forever be remembered by his wife of twenty-five years, Lanell Regan of Iota; children, Jamie Leger of Iota, Holly Cart (Scott) of Iota, Taylor Crochet of Iota, Blaze Regan (Ashlyn) of Egan, Bailey Bertrand (Nick) of Iota, Christian Fontenot of Friendswood, TX, Jenna Regan (Dylan) of Tee Mamou, Justus Regan of Spring, TX, Kolby Regan of Lake Arthur, Rose Regan of Spring, TX and Ty Regan of Iota; siblings, Mike Regan of Elton, Trudy LeDoux of Woodlands, TX, and Christian “Red” Regan of Egan; four grandchildren, Camden Bertrand, Roman Regan, Karsyn Simon, and Dade LeGros; and his faithful, fluffy companion, Remi; as well as extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis “Satch” Regan, Julia LeJeune Richard; and stepfather, Cliff Richard.

Pallbearers include Heath LeDoux, Scott Sensat, Dylan LeGros, Camron Kershaw, Nick Bertrand, and Jacob Wilson.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, May 24th from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, and again on Wednesday, May 25th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
