IOTAIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Jason Troy Taz Miller announces his passing on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Jennings American Legion Hospital. He was 32. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Mikel Polson officiating.

Jason known as Taz to all who knew him was a mud engineer in the oilfield. He loved Mardi Gras and sports especially the Saints as well as playing basketball and baseball but most importantly he loved spending time with his daughter. He was very much loved by his mother, Brenda V. Miller of Iota his loving daughter whom he was so proud of Caitlynn Isabel Deshotels of Basile his brother, Bodie James Miller of Iota his sister, LeAra Elizabeth Poncho of Iota and many friends. Taz will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed.

Now he rests in Heaven with his beloved father, Preston Miller and his brother, Lucas Shane Miller

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, September 28th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, September 29th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary time is pending for Tuesday evening.
