IOTAOur mom, Janell Stephens Miller passed away on Friday, August 09, 2013 in the comfort of her daughters home with her loving family by her side. She was 62. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry and Father David Broussard officiating.

Janell was a cashier at the Casino, but most importantly she was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will live on in all who loved her, especially her mother, Mary Jane Stephens Chapman of Iota her son, Larry TLakes Miller, Jr. of Iota and her daughter, Lanell Regan and husband, Jeffery of Tee Mamou along with her fourteen grandchildren, Khylee, Kharisa, Phillip, Jace, Alaina and Laiksey Miller, Christian Fontenot, Blaze, Bailey, Jenna, Justus, Kolby, Rose and Ty Regan. She also leaves two brothers, David Stephens and wife, Monica of Eunice and Byron Stephens and wife, Sara of Youngsville two sisters, Charlene Darbonne and husband, Bobby and Connie Gardner and husband, Michael all of Iota. Also mourning her loss are nieces, nephews, and friends. We love you, Mom, and will never forget you. Until we meet again, you will always be in our hearts and memories.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Larry Miller, Sr. father, Nelson Stephens and grandmother, Nora Schambough.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday August 11th, from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Monday, August 12th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm Sunday evening.
