EUNICE-A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated on Saturday, January 03, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Jacob Mitchell LaFleur, 24, who passed away on December 31, 2008 in Gretna. Burial to follow in the Ashford Cemetery with Pastor Vicki Forward and Pastor Travis Turner officiating.

Jacob was a heavy equipment operator and a avid dirt bike enthusiast. He was a dare devil who enjoyed freestyle motocross as well as motocross racing. As 725 Jacob raced many of the local tracks including Holeshot Moto X, Gravity Alley and I-10 MX. His family and friends were his life. Those of us, who have been blessed to have known him, loved him, laughed with him and cried with him will cherish every moment of every day of every year that God has allowed us to share with him. We are grateful for the gift he will forever be to us. Jacob is survived by his parents, Paul and Kim LaFleur of Duralde; a brother, Gregory LaFleur of Eunice; a sister, Caitlin LaFleur of Duralde; maternal grandparents, J.B. and Jeanette Fuselier of Eunice; paternal grandfather, Richard LaFleur of Duralde; two nieces and a nephew, Emerald, Rebecca and Elijah LaFleur and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rita LaFleur.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, January 02, 2009 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, January 03, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
