EUNICEIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, J. B. Manuel on Saturday, November 06, 2010. He was 86. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Kendal Faulk Celebrant.

J.B serviced his country proudly in the United States Navy having served in World War II as well as a retired insurance salesman for Fireside. His greatest joy in life was his family including his son, Percy Manuel and wife, Marty of Ventress his two daughters, Trenetta M. Granger and husband, Joe and Shelia M. Leonards and husband, Lloyd all of Eunice his sister, Verna M. Prevost of Harlinger, TX his eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He left those who knew him with warm memories to cheer us and fill our hearts.

J.B. now rests in Heaven with his beloved wife, Agnes D. Manuel his parents, Dorville and Olinore Reed Manuel three brothers, Howard, Joseph and Percy Manuel and one sister, Carriene M. Bollich.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, November 8th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 9th from 7:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Monday evening by Deacon Chuck Ortego.
