EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 am Thursday, May 03, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice for Ivy Guillory Smith, 92, who passed away on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.

The Rev. Cedric Sonnier, Pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Survivors include her son, Travis P. Smith and wife, Carol of Fordoche, LA; a daughter, Dianna Bonin of New Iberia; a daughter-in-law Betty Smith of Eunice; a brother, Paul Guillory of Sulphur; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Smith; parents, Oscar and Melanie D. Guillory; a son, Floyd A. Smith; two grandchildren, Rudy John Smith and Ronnie Lee Smith.
The family request that visitation hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 from 5pm until 10pm on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 and again on Thursday, May 03, 2007 from 8am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm Wednesday evening.
