BASILEA wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Isabelle M. Romero will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was 73. Isabelle died peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Interment will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Isabelle was a retired LPN from the nursing home. She has received her wings and is now soaring above looking over her family which includes her loving husband, Shelton Lee Romero of Basile her son, Brennus Romero and wife, Brenda of Elton her two daughters, Renetta Kibodeaux and husband, Jimmy of Elton and Donna LaFleur and husband, Mike of Basile. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Brenda, Kyle, Will, and Kim and further blessed with four great grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Carah and Emma.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Joe and Lovenia Fontenot Manuel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Saturday, October 22nd from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, October 23rd from 9:00 am until time of services. Father Marshall Boulet will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Saturday evening.
