BASILE-Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile, for Mrs. Isabella Bell Manuel, 75, who died Wednesday, November 16, 2006, at her residence.

Interment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile with Father Ken Domingue officiating.

Mrs. Manuel a resident of Basile was the owneroperator of Manuels Slaughter House in Basile.

Survivors includes her two sons, Tommy Manuel and wife, Sherrill of Basile, Sam K. Manuel and wife, Cynthia of Westlake; two daughters, Gayle Manuel of Lake Charles, Angie L. Soileau and husband, Harry J. of Basile; two brothers, John Bellon and wife, Elaine of Basile, Rodney Bellon and wife, Carolyn of Eunice; Two sisters, Elmae B. Rodiq and husband, Edward of New Jersey, Theresa Terri Hebert and husband, Charles of Eagan; seven grandchildren, Sadie Jo Guillory, Sean Manuel, Sara Sonnier, Shanna Chaumont, Iray J. Ashford, Mike Manuel, John Manuel; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marion Manuel.
Visitation will begin on Friday, November 17, 2006, from 10: a.m. until time of services on Saturday, November 18, 2006. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.
