EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, December 09, 2006, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice, for Mrs. Iris Broussard, 89, who passed away December 07, 2006 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice.

The Rev. Cedric Sonnier, Pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice will be Celebrant with the Rite Of Committal to follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

Survivors include her three sons, Clifford Broussard, Jr. and wife, Bernice Ann of Eunice, John Tillman Broussard of Baton Rouge, Roland Broussard and wife, Diane of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Dorothy B. Francois and husband, Kinney of Eunice; three brothers, Horace Fontenot of Eunice, Edward Fontenot and wife, Rita of Walker, Clayton Fontenot and wife, Mona of Baton Rouge; one sister, Ruth Crosby and husband, Charlie of Ville Platte; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Broussard, Sr; a son, Jack Broussard; two brothers, Alton and Lawrence Fontenot; two sisters, Armis Vidrine and Rose Fontenot.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm Friday, December 07, 2006, at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice and will continue from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary to be recited by Deacon David Guillory Friday, December 07, 2006 at 7:00 pm.
