EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Hubert Dupre, 84, who passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Oak Lane Wellness Center in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with The Reverend Fr. Tom Voorhies Celebrant.

Mr. Dupre served his country in both the United States Army as well as the United States Air Force. He is also a Veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theatre.

A loving Brother and Uncle, Mr. Dupre is survived by his four brothers Herbert Chick Dupre and wife, Rena, Levoy Lee Dupre, Eraste Crip Dupre, Jr. and wife, Joyce all of Eunice, Dale C. Dupre and wife, Jalyne of Lafayette; a sister, Lucille D. McGee and husband, Ralph Douglas of Lafayette; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eraste Dupre, Sr. and Beatrice Darbonne Dupre; a brother, Abby Dupre.

The family request that visitation hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, August 27, 2007 from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening.
