IOTAIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Herbie Donnie Louviere announces his passing on Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home at the age of 42. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Iota. Burial will follow in the Iota City Cemetery with Pastor Mitchell Gotte officiating.

Herbie, known as Donnie to all who knew and loved him, loved to fish, hunt, cook and drink Dr. Pepper. But most of all he was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandson and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew him especially his parents, Pap and Barbara Louviere of Iota son, Joshua Louviere of Iota three daughters, Allison Louviere of Lake Arthur, Valerie Louviere of Vinton and Laikyn Miller of Iota sister, Kristal Louviere of Iota nephews, Dawson and Collin Louviere of Iota and maternal grandmother, Lorisa Hebert of Duson.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmothers, Gladys Leckelt Louviere and Francis Dietz.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Sunday, October 12th from 9:30 am until time of services.
