EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2007 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice for Mr. Henry J. Broussard, 87, who passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2007,at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Henry J. Broussard officiating.

Mr. Broussard was in the United States Army and a Veteran of World War II serving with the 313 the Infantry Divison. Mr. Broussard participated in several European Campaigns including Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland. He was in the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and the VFW.

Survivors include his son, Fr. Henry J. Broussard of Cankton; three daughters, Celine Sittig and husband, Dale of Eunice, Linda Quirk and husband, Bill of Eunice, Susan Broussard of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Guillory Broussard; parents, Joseph D. Broussard, Corinne Manuel Broussard.

The family request that visitation hours be observed from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2007 and again on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
In lieu of flowers the Memorial Donations may be made to the St. Edmunds Gymnasium Fund.
