Helena Marie Derosier Head

EUNICE-With heavy hearts the family of Helena Marie DeRosier Head announces her passing on Tuesday, October 04, 2022, at the Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles at the age of 76. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 07, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Nick Ware, Celebrant.

Helena was a 1963 graduate of St. Edmund High School and was employed for many years at DeRosier Law Firm in Lake Charles. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her son, Joshua Head and wife, Malisa of Orange, Tx; her daughter, Susan Head of Buna, TX; her brothers, John DeRosier and wife, Leigh of Lake Charles and Robert DeRosier and wife, Claudia of Mooresville, NC; her sister, Elaine DeRosier of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, J.D. Head, Maccoy Head, and Kasey Head, all of Orange, TX; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Miller DeRosier; and her siblings, Joseph DeRosier, Paul DeRosier, and Delores Stroderd.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, October 6th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and again on Friday, October 7th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
