EUNICEThe children of Helen Veillon Guillory are saddened to announce that their dear mother has passed away on Friday, January 07, 2011 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was 85. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 12, 2010. Burial will follow in the Guillory Cemetery with Pastor Woody Gunnels officiating.

Helen leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her four daughters, Betty Ashford Cormier LaFleur, Mary Ashford Olivier and husband, Irby, Patricia Ashford Jacobs, all of Eunice and Linda Guillory Bergeron of Lake Charles a stepson, Thomas Guillory and wife, Donna of Kerryville, TX three step daughters, Willie Roy Guillory Johnson of Bedias,TX, Florence Guillory Dutton and husband, Vernon of Conroe, TX, Brenda Guillory Evans of Baytown, TX three sisters, Hazel Veillon Arnaud Johnston of Eunice, Esther Veillon Derbes of Lafayette and Annie Veillon Miller of Eunice twenty eight grandchildren, sixty eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Now she rests in Heaven with her husbands, Oswald Ashford, Little Lee, Leroy J. Guillory son, Little L.J. Lee, Jr. her parents, Esteave and Azmia Pitre Veillon daughter, Shirley Faye Lee Francois five grandchildren, Craig Cormier, Jackie Dies Leonard, Hilbert J.J. Dies, Patrick Jacobs, Heather Rachelle Bergeron and several brothers and sisters soninlaws, Vurman L.J. LaFleur, Hilbert Dies, Sr, Clanney Jacobs, Nelson Paul Bergeron.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 11th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 12th from 8:00 am until time of services.
