EUNICEA wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Helen F. Chaumont will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen died peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley. She was 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Edward Duhon Celebrant.

Helen a resident of Eunice was retired from the South Central Bell telephone company. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gregory P. Chaumont and wife, Lisa of Eunice her brother, Glenn B. Fuselier and wife, Carol of Morgan City her brotherinlaw, Huey Chaumont and wife, Bertha of Liberty, TX two sistersinlaw, Jane Fuselier of Pittsburg, PA and Agnes Chick McGee of Eunice and the littlest joys of her life her three grandchildren, Kasey Darlene, Gregory Paul and Andrew Joseph Chaumont. Also mourning her loss is numerous nieces and nephews.

Now she rests in Heaven with her parents, Jules Pete and Mable MaeMae Fuselier her husband, Andrew Chaumont brother, John Dale Fuselier and her sister, Georgia Grace David.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, March 23 from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, March 24 from 8:00 am until time of services. Father Cedric Sonnier will recite of Rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
