EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the loss of our loved one, Harvey Vigee, on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home in Eunice. He was 73. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Harvey was a retired Basile State Bank President. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors and was an avid LSU fan. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Harvey will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Shelva Vigee of Eunice his children, Randall Vigee of Eunice, Timothy Vigee and wife, Cathy of Georgetown, TX, and Denise Vigee MacDanel and husband, Shannon of Baton Rouge sister, Betty V. Bertrand of Lake Charles eight grandchildren, Ashley Prudhomme, Jennifer Vigee, Josh Vigee, Nicholas Vigee, Christopher Vigee, Dionne Vigee, Alex MacDanel and Gabe MacDanel and two greatgrandchildren, Sebastian and Abigail Prudhomme.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Walter and Eva McDaniel Vigee brother, Oran Vigee and sister, Ramona Begnaud.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, December 13th from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 14th from 9:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Friday evening.
