EUNICEWith much sorrow, the family announces the passing of Harold J. Vidrine who peacefully passed away in his 82nd year with his family by his side at his residence on the morning of Monday, January 17, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Kendal Faulk Celebrant.

Harold was a retired carpenter and cattleman as well as a volunteer for the Church of Annunciation in Duralde. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend he will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary Lou Vidrine of Eunice his two daughters, Donna Thibodeaux and companion, Aaron M. Daigle and Tina Fontenot and companion, Robert Bush all of Eunice his two sisters, Yvonne Verrett of Little Rock, AR and Zoe Vidrine of Pineville. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Renota Dempsey, Chase Larsen, Tisha Fontenot, Holly Aucoin and Justin L.J. Fontenot and further blessed with six great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Seth, and Gaige Thibodeaux, Bayleigh, Leigh, and Blake Deshotel.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved parents Numa and Zoey Vidrine.

At the request of Harolds family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, January 18th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, January 19th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening by Deacon Jim Cormier.
