EUNICE-A Celebration of Life for Harold M. Moreau, 78, will be on Saturday, September 06, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial to follow in the Protestant Cemetery in Basile with Ernest McZeal officiating.

Mr. Harold was a native of Iota and a resident of Sunset. He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1951 1953 and later became a member of the Arnaudville VFW Post 5153. In 1974, he was awarded the Craftsman of the Year Award by the Southwest Architect Association. He owned and operated a construction business called Harold Moreau Builders where he retired at the age of 75.

A Loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather, Harold is survived by his wife, Ethel A. Moreau of Sunset; a son, Mark Moreau and wife, Mary Jane of Scott; three daughters, Becky Owens and husband, John of Lafayette, Laurie Eddings and husband, Adrian of Scott, and Evielyn Moreau and fiance' Ronnie Broussard of Broussard; three brothers, Allen Moreau of Lake Charles, Leroy Moreau of Mittie and Bradley Moreau of Sulphur; one sister, Inez Mansueto of Metairie; and six grandchildren. Harold will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mayuse and Evie Dora Eaves Moreau; four brothers, Sydney, Braxton, James, and Jared Moreau.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, September 05, 2008 from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, September 06, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services.
