BASILE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 03, 2007 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile, for Harold Paul DeBarge, 80, who passed away on Sunday, April 01, 2007 at his residence.

Interment to follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Father Jules Speyrer officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Y. DeBarge of Basile; two sons, John Anthony DeBarge and wife, Carolyn of Delhi, LA, Luther Neil DeBarge and wife, Phyllis of Youngsville; a brother, Batson DeBarge of Eunice; a sister, Daphne Land of Alexandria; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His parents, Adeoul DeBarge, Arecia Bertrand DeBarge; one grandson, Sean Lewis DeBarge preceded him in death.
The family request that visitation hour be observed from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday, April 02, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile and again on Tuesday, April 03, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm Monday evening.
