BASILEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved wife, dear mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Gloria Fruge Mosbroker on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 60. Funeral Services will be Celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Basile. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Dwayne Smith officiating.

Gloria was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her including her husband of fortytwo years, Norvil H. Mosbroker, Sr. of Basile two sons, Norvil H. Mosbroker, Jr. and wife, Lara of Port Allen, and Rudolph J. Mosbroker of Basile one daughter, Mary Mosbroker and fianc, Michael Marshall of New Iberia two sisters, Merlina Lena Young of Basile and Mona Johnson of Eunice and eight grandchildren, Timothy Clark, Katelyn Clark, Nicholas Venable, Brooklyn Mosbroker, Casey Mosbroker, Cami Mosbroker, Jasmine Mosbroker, and Brandon Estilow.

Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Tanas and Mary Lou Courville Fruge two brothers, Harry and Rogers Benoit and four grandchildren.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Friday, June 24th from 4:00 pm until time of services on Saturday, June 25th.
