EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on January 19, 2008 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas Church in Savoy for Mrs. Gloria Dean Fontenot, 64, who passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Opelousas General Hospital. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dan Edwards Celebrant.

A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Gloria is survived by her husband, Gilbert Fontenot of Eunice; three daughters, Melinda Medina and husband, Jose, Donna Granger and husband, Calum all of Richard, Shonda Aguour and husband, Houcine of Eunice; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her parents Joseph and Lena Moreau Douget precede her in death.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice from 2:00 pm until 12:00 pm on Friday, January 18, 2008 and again on Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:30pm Friday evening.
