Gloma Theron G.T. White, Jr., beloved husband of Lelda Manuel White for the past 55 years, passed away June 02, 2008 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 77. He is the son of the late Gloma White, Sr. and Mabel Cone. Mr. White is survived by four loving children, Terry White, Sr.Carolyn, Vicky White, Richard White Chasity, and Jerry WhiteValerie; nine adoring grandchildren, Terry Jr., Scott, Ryan, Sean, Blake, Brock, Adyn, Tiffany, and Hailey. Also, three great-grandchildren, Brianna, Eric, and Macy. A native of Bunn, North Carolina, Mr. White started his family in Eunice, LA and then settled in Marrero, LA for the past 40 years. He is a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. His wit and soft nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Whites family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Scott Acosta, West Jefferson Hospital Staff, and American Nursing Services Staff for their care and compassion throughout his illness.

Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 05, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and visitation at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, June 06, 2008 from 12 noon until service time at 3:00 pm. Interment to follow in the St. Anthony of Padua Memorial Mausoleum, Eunice, LA. For funeral information, please call 504-366-4343.
