Gladys Goodley Ross

EUNICE-With heavy hearts the family of Gladys Goodley Ross announces her passing on October 4, 2021, at Eunice Manor at the age of 94. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.

Gladys was very active in her church and community. She was always willing to help others and gave all her love to everyone. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her daughter, Shirley Joe and husband, Wilton of Fort Worth, TX; her sister, Rena Goodley Semien of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Monte Joe and wife, Robin of Abilene, TX and Tiffany Joe of Fort Worth, TX; great grandchildren, Aziah Joe of Abilene, TX and Lorenzo Joe and wife, Madisyn of Stillwater, OK; one great-great grandchild, Kash Joe of Stillwater, OK; a host of  nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Shillow and Leroy Ross; parents, Ferrol and Azelina Cesar Goodley; siblings, Warren Goodley, Charlie Goodley, Olivia Allison, Cecillia Brignac, Stella Shillow, Rose Fontenot, Paul Goodley, John Goodley, Joshua Goodley, Renis Goodley, Dennis Goodley, Mary Pitre, Vinus Johnwell, Elsie Frank and Ernest Goodley; and one great grandson, Brayden Joe.

The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Eunice Manor and Hope Hospice for their dedicated care of Gladys.
