EUNICE-A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Gertrude Fuselier will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Gertrude known as Blonde to all who knew her passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Savoy Care Center in Mamou surrounded by her loved ones. She was 72. A Celebration of Blondes life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Roussell officiating.

She will be lovingly missed by her son, Ray A. Fuselier and his wife, Laurell of Eunice; her daughter, Pris Nichols and her husband, Darwin of Point Blue; her sister, Beverly Manuel of Eunice; her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Fuselier, Regina Stelly, Trott LeJeune, Ashley Hopkins; and her seven special great grandchildren.

Now she rests in heaven with her beloved husband, Norris Fuselier; her parents, Abner and Ida Blanchard Miller; her sisters, Geraldine Hobb Miller and Edna Tuh Thibodeaux

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday, August 24, 2009 from 8:00 am until time of services.
