EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice for Frances M. Reed, 75, who passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Opelousas General. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with The Reverend Father Ed Duhon Celebrant.

Frances husband, children, family and friends were her life. Those of us who have been blessed to have known her, loved her, laughed with her and cried with her will cherish every moment of every day of every year that God has allowed us to share with her. We are grateful for the gift she will forever be to us. Frances is survived by her loving husband, Dulance Reed of Eunice; her loving son, John Reed and wife, Danae of Prairieville; her loving daughter, Judith Hollier of Eunice; a loving brother, Lucien Montelaro and wife, Doris of Eunice; and four wonderful grandchildren, Alex Hollier of Eunice, William Reed, Hannah Reed, and Sarah Reed of Prairieville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Josephine Montelaro.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 11:00am until 10:00pm and again on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 8:00am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
