EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 03, 2007 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice, for Mrs. Femie Fem Agnes Hargroder, 88, who passed away on Monday, January 01, 2007 at The Guardian House in Lake Charles.

The Rev. Cedric Sonnier, Pastor of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice.

Mrs. Hargroder was a resident of Eunice and a longtime member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church Alter Society and French Choir.

Survivors include her three sons, Jeffrey Hargroder and wife, Jean of Lafayette, Terry Hargroder and wife, Linda of Fair Hope, AL., John Hargroder and wife, Theresa of Westlake; two daughters, Barbara Pelloquin and husband, Jimmie of Basile, Pris Rider and husband, James of Lake Charles; one brother Hammy Vidrine and wife, Irene of Lake Charles; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hargroder, four brothers and four sisters.
The family request that visitation hours be observed from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday, January 02, 2007, at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice, and again on Wednesday January 03, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
