EUNICEIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Eveline Picard Thibodeaux announces her passing on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Oaklane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice at the age of 97. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Msgr. Romero Celebrant.

Eveline was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her two sons, Nelson Thibodeaux and wife, Leona of Richmond, TX and Horace Thibodeaux of Houston, TX four daughters, Audrey Duplechain of Eunice, Grace Deshotels of Crowley, Margaret Beck and husband, Richard of Athens, AL and Dolores Charlie and husband, Fred of Eunice nineteen grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Thibodeaux her parents, Frank and Lydia Guidry Picard and soninlaw, Gene Duplechain.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, November 17th from 8:00 am until time of services. Msgr. Romero will recite a Rosary at 7:30 pm Sunday evening.
