EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Ethelette "Telette" Fontenot Thibodeaux announces her passing on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, March 30, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father David Hebert Celebrant.

Ethelette, or "Telette" as she was affectionately called by family and friends loved and supported her Saints and LSU football teams. She enjoyed praying the rosary with her rosary group as well as playing bingo at the nursing home with her friends. She loved her great nieces and great nephews and spending time with her family brought a great deal of joy to her life. But most of all she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Bart L. Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge; her daughter, Buffie Gauthier and husband, Jeremy of Denham Springs; her two brothers, Joseph Hubert Fontenot and Chester Paul Fontenot and wife, Mary all of Eunice; her sister, Leola Granger and husband Earl "Butch" of Eunice; the three joys of her life her grandchildren, Colton O'Neal, Kaylee Thibodeaux and Camden O'Neal; as well as many nieces , nephews and extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Batson and Ethel Abshire Fontenot; brothers, infant Andrew D. Fontenot and Otis James Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, March 29th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Monday, March 30th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Sunday evening.
