EUNICE-Funeral Services will be Celebrated at 2:00pm Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice for Ethel Aguillard Moreau, 75, who passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Laura and son-in-law, Adrian Eddings in Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Pastor Tim Moffett officiating.

Ethel was a native of Basile and a resident of Sunset. While living in Eunice, she worked for E. A. Veillon Insurance Agency. Later, while living in Lafayette, she worked for the Continential Insurance Agency where she retired in 1981. She was also a member of the Insurance Women of Lafayette.

She leaves behind a legacy of family and friends who loved and will miss her. Ethel is survived by one son, Mark Moreau and wife, Mary Jane of Scott; three daughters, Becky Owens and husband, John of Lafayette, Laura Eddings and husband, Adrian of Clinton, Arkansas, and Evielyn Broussard and husband, Ronnie of Broussard; one brother, Rodgers Aguillard and wife, Claudette of Muncie, Indiana; four sisters, Verna A. Labry and husband, Ruttland of Fenton, Lois A. Tyson and husband, Youree, Lottie A. Ledoux and husband, Harry Lee, and Mary Ann Sonnier, all of Eunice; six grandchildren; a one day old 1st great grandchild, Olivia Rene Cormier; and her many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold M. Moreau; parents, Rene and Essie F. Aguillard; brother, Roland D. Aguillard; and a sister, Luzzie Lou A. Lejeune.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, February 20, 2009 from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 10:00 am until Services.
