A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend

EUNICE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 09, 2007 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice for Esther Moreau Myers, 73, who passed away on Monday, May 07, 2007 at 3:35 pm at Lafayette General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Father Stephen Ugwu, Pastor of St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Eunice will be the Celebrant with the Rite of Committal to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Survivors include her husband, Francis Myers of Eunice; three sons, Clifford Myers and wife, Launa of Swords, Francis Myers, Jr., of Swords, David Myers and wife, Amy of Eunice; a daughter, Tina M. Miller and husband, Ashton Miller, Jr. of Eunice; one brother, Sylvan Moreau of Lacassine; two sisters, Willie May Fontenot of Eunice, Vergie Pitre of Opelousas; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie Bacon Moreau; a son, Ricky Myers; seven brothers; two sisters.
The family request that visitation hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 from 4pm until 10 pm and again on Wednesday, May 09, 2007 from 8am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited by Deacon Robert Leger at 7 pm Tuesday evening.
