EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Erline Tremie Guillory on Monday, July 05, 2010 at Oak Lane Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Eunice surrounded by her loved ones. She was 89. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 9:30 am on July 07, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park in Ville Platte with Father Mario Romero Celebrant.

Erline was a resident of Ville Platte and a retired register nurse. She leaves a wonderful legacy of love and care, especially for her four beautiful children, her two sons, Dexter Guillory and wife, Sunny of Eunice, Barry Guillory and wife, Michelle of Manchester, England her two daughters, Martha Tanios and husband, Samir of Houston, TX and Fran Stevens and husband, David of Lafayette her sisterinlaw, Leona Conway of Kountze, TX. She is also mourned by her grandchildren of whom she was very proud, Holly Manuel, Kurt Guillory, Doug Guillory, Josh Ardoin, Maggie Ardoin, Leila Tanios, Erin Guillory, Luke Guillory, Gina Guillory, Sara Guillory, Samantha Stevens and Jake Stevens her six great grandchildren who are a great source of joy as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege and honor of knowing and loving her.

Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Luther Guillory her parents, Ferdinand and Martha LaFleur Tremie her daughter, Janine Bihm five brothers and three sisters.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, July 6th from 12:30 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, July 7th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening.
