EUNICEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Eric Bernard Bischoff announces his passing on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the age of 36. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Dustin Dought Celebrant.
Eric was a hardworking man that gave his all for his family in his every word and action. Eric will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, soninlaw, brotherinlaw, uncle, cousin and friend. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Johnette A. Lalonde Bischoff. Eric was also extremely loving and proud of his two children, daughter, Leah Faye Bischoff, son Rhett Bernard Bischoff. He is also survived by his parents, John B. and Faye S. Bischoff of Eunice his brother, Scott Bischoff and fianc, Lauren Maddie of Lafayette his sister, Kristen Bischoff and fianc Graham Muller of Lake Charles his mother and fatherinlaw, Kenneth and Jackie Lalonde of Eunice his sisterinlaw, Melissa Frey and husband, Bubba of Eunice his brotherinlaw, Kevin Lalonde and wife, Lori of Eunice his nieces, Brianna and Caroline as well as many loving extended family and dear friends. He will forever be loved and missed by everyone whose hearts he touched.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Ola Mae Bischoff maternal grandparents, Clements and Alice Sittig his aunt and uncle, Youric and Mary Ann Courville and his cousin, Glenn Courville.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Friday, September 26th from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm and again on Saturday, September 27th from 7:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Friday evening.
Pallbearers honored to serve are John Menard, Andre Miller, Terry Fontenot, Graham Muller, Scott Bischoff and Trey Fontenot. Honorary Pallbearer are Kelly Darbonne and Trent Fontenot. Reader are Aunt Brenda Manuel and Clint Bischoff.
