EUNICE-A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend, Enite H. Monceaux will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Enite passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice at the age of 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Cedric Sonnier Celebrant.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Mike Monceaux and his wife, Linda of Iowa; three daughters, Dolores M. Christ and her husband, Harold of Eunice, Joyce Manuel and her husband, Melvin of Longville, and Cindy Ardoin of Oberlin; one sister, Hilda Trahan of Oberlin; twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clomere and Evelia Lege900; Hebert; her husband, Sylves Monceaux; and her grandson, Shannon Ardoin.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice from 9:00 am until time of services.
