EUNICE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Friday, August 17, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel for Ena F. Launey Sliman, 93, who passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon David Guillory officiating.

A resident of Eunice, Mrs. Ena enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, and gardening flowers and vegetables.

Mrs. Sliman is survived by her husband, Mitchell J. Sliman of Eunice; three daughters, Lorraine L. Lewis and husband, Charles of Eunice, Gwen L. Frick of Lake Charles, and Rebecca Launey of Deridder; one step-son, Jimmy Sliman of Lake Charles; one step-daughter, Roxanne Breaux of Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Renus and Effie Fontenot; first husband, J. Rouel Launey; and a daughter, Shirley L. Reed Young.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 8:00 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
