EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Emma Jane LeJeune announces her passing on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 78. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Sensat Celebrant.

Emma, known to many as "Jane" was a housewife who loved working in her community. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and was a Eucharistic Minister. She loved to dance, read, travel, camping and doing ceramics. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her loving husband of 63 years, Charles LeJeune of Eunice; her four children, Pamela Vidrine of Moss Bluff, Cindy LeJeune, Bernard LeJeune and wife, Karen and Amanda "Mandi" LeJeune all of Eunice; her brother, Harris Soileau and wife, Diane of Bayou Vista and two sisters, Virgie Prejean of Mamou and Rosa Belle Fontenot of Port Arthur, TX. She was a loving grandmother to eleven grandchildren, Ferral , Rusty and Nick Vidrine, Eric Ousley and Lacy LeJeune, Chris and Drake LeJeune, Emily and Gavin Trahan and Lane and Logan Eubanks; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Mazie Pitre Soileau; three brothers, Joseph and Wayne Soileau and Larry Fontenot; and four sisters, Nellie Soileau, Hazie Bertrand, Barbara Soileau and Joyce Reed.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, June 25th from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and again on Friday, June 26th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday evening.
