IOTAIt is with heavy hearts that the family of Elson Henry Leckelt announces his passing on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at his home at the age of 70. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota. Rite of Committal will follow in the Iota City Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry, Celebrant.

A loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Elson is survived by his wife of ten years, Maria Rojo Leckelt of Iota mother, Mary Pousson Leckelt brothers, Larry Leckelt and wife, Cynthia of Iota, Charles Leckelt and wife, Janet of Eunice, and Richard Leckelt of Iota sister Patricia Richard and husband, Edward of Richard also by many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elson W. Leckelt

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Iota on Tuesday, November 18th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm Tuesday afternoon.
