EUNICE It is with much sorrow that the family of Ellen Vidrine announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend on Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette at the age of 62. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 04, 2014 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Pastor Kevin West officiating.

Ellen will be remembered by her excellent crocheting skills, baking qualities especially her peanut butter fudge and always could lift a person up with her jokes and comfort measures. Ellens memory will live on in all who loved her, especially her three loving children, Kimberly Ludlow and husband, Harold of Lafayette, Jeremy Theriot of Plaquemine and Kourtney Vidrine of Kinder her two sisters, Linda Thibodeaux of Sulphur and Darlene Vidrine of Grayson. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Shannen, Bailey, Dominic, Tyson and Julianne as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Godwin and Julian Deaville Vidrine a brother, Terrel Vidrine and a brotherinlaw, Albert Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Thursday, April 3rd from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, April 4th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
