EUNICEIt is with great sadness that the family of Ella Marie Courville Bertrand announces her passing on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 61. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice. Interment will follow in the Courville Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating.

Ella loved to cook, listen to music and dance but most of all she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her son, Kent Bertrand of Eunice two daughters, Veronica Richardson and Justina Bertrand all of Eunice two brothers, Simpson Courville of Lafayette and Mitchell Courville of Eunice sister, Shirley Bennett of Lake Charles. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and further blessed with two great grandchildren.

She now rests in Heaven with her beloved parents, Clarence and Renola Trahan Courville.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice on Saturday, January 12th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Sunday, January 13th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Chuck Ortego will recite a Rosary at 6:00 pm Saturday evening.
