Earlene Bordelon

EUNICE-It is with profound sadness that the family of Earlene Bordelon shares the news of her passing on Monday, September 9, 2024. Surrounded by her loved ones in her home in Eunice, Earlene departed this world peacefully at the age of 89.

 A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice, followed by her interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, where Pastor Andrew Bates will officiate the services.

 Born on September 11, 1934, in Cleveland, Texas, Earlene was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Edith Young Bryan. Her professional journey included a dedicated 25-year career with Exxon. However, more than her career, it was her love for family and friends that truly defined her life. Earlene had a passion for travel and enjoyed the excitement of watching tennis matches. She delighted in evenings spent playing Bourrée with friends, cherishing the laughter and companionship that came with those moments.

 Earlene's heart was immeasurably filled with love for her two children, Bryan Andrew Bordelon and his wife, Lydia of Breaux Bridge, and Andrea Eminger and her husband, Ron of Deridder. She will be deeply missed by her three grandchildren, Brandon Bordelon, Preston Bordelon, and Jess Hodder, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Ingrid Bordelon, Edie Jo Bordelon, and Brynn Bordelon, all of whom brought her immense joy. She is also remembered fondly by extended family and many friends whose lives she touched.

 Earlene is preceded in death by her parents and her dear brother, James Donald Bryan.

 In accordance with the family’s wishes, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 9:00 am until the time of services.
