BASILEIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Dwaine Bogget Redlich announces his passing on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from a rare form of cancer, Anaplastic Carcinoma of the Thyroid at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. He was 64. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Evangeline. Rite of Committal will follow in the Langley Cemetery with Father David Broussard Celebrant.

Dwaine, know to many as Bogget, was a farmer and he enjoyed working on his backhoe, cooking and visiting but most importantly he was a loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his devoted and loving wife, Beverly Bebo Redlich of Basile his mother, Edna S. Redlich of Basile his four children, Darren Redlich and fianc Amanda of Basile, Roxann Brister and husband, Keith of Cary, N.C., Reagan Redlich and wife, Brenda and Devin Redlich all of Basile two brothers, Lyle Redlich of Basile and Lowell Redlich of Eunice two sisters, Jeanne Savant and Dionne Bordelon both of Basile. He was the loving grandfather to eight grandchildren, Branson, Katherine and Piper Redlich, Jason Langley, Chase, Lance, and Ava Brister, and Reagan Redlich II.

He now rests in Heaven with his beloved father, Oris Redlich.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Basile on Tuesday, March 19th from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, March 20th from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
