Dustin Paul Aguillard

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dustin Paul Aguillard announces his passing on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home at the age of 25. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Guillory Cemetery with Pastor Ron Aguillard officiating.

 Dustin was born on January 30, 2000, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dustin found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was immersing himself in the world of his PlayStation or cherishing the precious moments spent with his beloved daughter and Godchild. He understood the importance of a close-knit circle, surrounding himself with friends who became family, creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Deeply aware of life's fleeting nature, Dustin imparted the profound lesson that life is too short, reminding those around him to cherish every moment and live boldly. While he achieved many milestones throughout his life, none were more significant to him than the love he had for his daughter, whom he treasured above all else. Today, as we remember Dustin, let us celebrate the joy he brought to our lives and the enduring legacy of love he leaves behind. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

 Dustin will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his father, Carl Aguillard, Jr. and his mother, Dina Fontenot and husband, Chris, all of Eunice; his daughter, Sadie Marie Aguillard of Ville Platte; brother, Triston Fontenot and wife, Payton of Crowley; sisters, Alexis Aguillard of Eunice and Miya Fontenot of Iota; nephew, Kaiser Fontenot of Crowley; nephew and Godchild, Cayden LeJeune of Eunice; as well as extended family and friends. 

 He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl Aguillard, Sr. and Carol Fontenot; maternal great grandparents, Fred and Geraldine Grigsby; paternal great grandparents, Dillard and Hazel Aguillard; and great aunt, Kathy Swire.

 At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and again on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 8:00 am until time of services.
