EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Drucey Rougeau announces her passing at the age of 70, on Sunday, October 04, 2015 at Harbor House Hospice in Lake Charles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 06, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Travis Abadie Celebrant.
Drucey lost her battle to cancer after many years of fighting with grace and strength. She retired for the City of Eunice after many years of service. She was a wonderful and loving mother to three daughters, Monica Farag and husband, Hussien of Tampa, FL, Rochelle Page of Gonzales, Jeanne Cormier of Lake Charles. She is also survived by two brothers, Russell Miller and wife, Brenda of Lake Charles and Nolan Miller and wife, Karen of Jennings. The joys of her life were her five grandchildren, Sara and Omar Farag, Bryce and Madelyn Page and Carson Cormier. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elge and Dorothy Fournerat Miller.
Pallbearers will be Bryce Page, Danny Nugier, Jacob Nugier, Joey Miller, Logan Fournerat and Bill Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Carson Cormier.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Monday, October 4th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, October 5th from 10:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will recite a Rosary at 6:30 on Monday evening.
