Dovie Brown

EuniceIt is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Dovie Guillory Brown on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Opelousas General Medical Center. She was 80. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

She left those who knew her with warm memories to cheer us and fill our hearts including six children, Charmaine B. Wilkins and husband, Steve of Houston, TX, Rochelle B. Bellow of Wooster, Ohio, Charchelle B. Armato and husband, Peter of Eunice, Ramon J. Brown and wife, Marla of Denver, CO, Dominic J. Brown and wife, Vanessa of Eunice and Maurice J. Brown and wife, Lori of Eunice a brother, Jerry Gillory of Spokane, WA and the joys of her life her sixteen grandchildren which includes Olivia Rice, Emily Rice, Henry Brown, Hayden Brown, Stuart Bellow, Maureen Bellow, Grace Bellow, Morgan Brown, Mollie Brown, Kimberlin Brown, Abbie Brown, Cullen Brown, Mason Brown, Pierson Brown, Maddie Margaret Armato, and Emma Evelyn Armato.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joseph E. and Fanilie Fuselier Guillory her husband, Curlin J. Brown two brothers, Ray Bootsie Guillory and Jimmy Guillory.
